We had the good fortune of connecting with Michela Longo and shared our conversation below.
Is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
Having the right attitude. Letting fear go and making decisions with love. Trying not to have too many expectations, I accept the task at hand and have gratitude for the outcome no matter the product because it’s a great learning experience in how you play the business game.
What should our readers know about your business?
I think we all have plans. We all have ideas of what we want to do, but I can’t tell you how many times that has changed in my 42 years. I set out with a goal in mind, and it can manifest into something I never saw coming. I think the journey is getting to know and accept yourself, good, evil, and ugly. Always willing to admit mistakes and grow from them. You are always a work in progress, creating a better version daily. Currently, Sean Allen and I have a business, ProVinyl Solutions. It is a vinyl shop where we wrap commercial and personal vehicles with printed or color-change vinyl. We also design, print, and install murals and signage. Recently we have opened up a new component called ProMotional Unlimited, where our clients can get any promotional items needed for their business in one place. What sets us apart from other companies is the personalities we have working with us. We all care about the clients, make them friends, and treat everyone by the golden rule. I had to work hard for absolutely everything I had from the start. I feel I have a different view or appreciation than most. I count what I’m thankful for every day and consciously do my best for everyone. I love the heart and drive that others around me have, which also inspires and keeps me going. We dig deep into our clients to personally style their business with their vehicles and items that represent them and their business. Always something different and exciting going on at ProVinyl Solutions.
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? What spots could they take them to if they have a visiting friend town?
I am a fan of Tempe, AZ. Tempe is where I grew up, and it’s a laid-back city. I love to go to Casey Moores for some food and drinks. Art of Merlot in old town Scottsdale for some wine and painting. Sean and I love to paint together. Maybe a road trip to Sedona. Sedona has a vibe all of its own; it’s a peaceful and spiritual place. We tend to be pretty introverted in our downtime since socializing and entertaining are a part of our job during the week at ProVinyl Solutions.
A shoutout is about shouting out others you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shout out?
I want to thank my dad for his drive and ambition. He would always push me to think about what I would like to do. He also would never accept roadblocks; if you could feel it, you could do it attitude. He is successful in everything he does. My children, Adrik and Layla, always inspired my hustle and made me a better person. Sean Allen, who is my partner in all of this. He is favorable about my hostile and always supportive of anything I want to do.
